Add to basketBased on Reizenstein's play of the same name, adaptation by D. Torbett. Reizenstein later wrote as Elmer L. Rice. Made into movies 3 times. The first was a 1917 silent film by James Young starring Barbara Castleton, Sydney Ainsworth and Little Mary McAlister. The 1928 Archie May version starred Pauline Frederick, Bert Lytell and Lois Wilson. The final version was filmed in 1939 by Terry Morse and starred John Litel, Margaret Lindsay and Janet Chapman. Bumped and rubbed with a bit of wear at the edges. Spine darkened, small drip stains on the front board. Binding square and solid, end papers foxed. Previous owner's name and date inked out on the front pastedown. Illustrated with still photos from the play. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
