Limited to two hundred and fifty copies, of which this is number two hundred and forty-one. Signed by the author to the limitation page at the rear. Two short stories entitled "The Mare's Nest" and "The Long Shadow". Written by John Frederick Norman Hampson Simpson, an English novelist writing as John Hampson, who was a member of a Birmingham Group of working-class authors. In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and minor sunning to the boards. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound with light wear and chipping to the extremities. A 5" closed tear to the spine with the odd small closed tear to the panel edges. Light sunning to the spine and extremities with the odd small mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning to the extremities. Some of the text block remains unopened. Good Only.
