"In 1910-11 the author explored Siberia, and passed through Chinese Turkestan on the way back to India. He surveyed at Chuguchak, Hami, Guchen, Bogdo-Ola mountains .Thence he travelled to India from Kashgar, with M. P. Rice (natural history) and J. H. Miller (botany and geology)" (Yakushi).
