Half title + Title page + 549 pages. Condition binding good, minor sunning to spine. Contents mostly very good and clean, light foxing to page 2, & last 2 pages rear, ink owner name first end-page, under half title page title there is in pencil the title in Norwegian. Printed note inside states A story of simple folk in a Norwegian fishing village, primitive people living off the beaten track. Seem as if the English edition did not sell very well as a quick net check found copies in Norwegian text, only found a few American published copies for sale, but only found one other English copy (signed/dedicated and over £2,000). Size: 16 x 22cm Approx.
