Complete route map plan drawings N.9619/1 - N9619/31 showing aerial view route plans from Victoria to Walthamstow with amendments up to 1968. Bound in brown Soft cover folder with 31 Diazo print, fold-out plans of each stage and title page. Pages in very good condition with a little toning to edges. Though the route was agreed and Parliament had approved the work (original idea proposed in 1948), it wasn't till 1962 that the final go-ahead was given with the line being opened in stages between 1968 and 1972. These original plans are a fascinating bit of history of the London Underground and still have a train station aroma. Extremely scarce set of original plans.
