Scarlet red cloth quarter-bound to spine over green/blue paper on boards. Leather title label affixed to spine with gilt lettering. Blind stamped logo of stag on front, top edge bright gilt. Limited Edition - privately printed for the author, a descendant of Moncure Robinson, subject of the book. Robinson was one of the preeminent civil engineers of the 19th century and a descendant himself of the first families of Virginia. Well known for designing the Pennsylvania & Reading railroad. Limited to 300 Copies and Signed by the author. Inscribed on the flyleaf - "Richard . from T.B. Aug. 1958." This book is No. 248, printed on Japan deckle-edged paper, bound in boards with cloth back and leather label." 200pp.
