Previous owner's bookplate to front pastedown endpaper (John Bowman-Manifold, Lieut-Commander aboard HMS Exeter, killed in action during the Battle of the River Plate). Includes an original review clipping from the Observer newspaper. Overall book condition is Good. Size: 5.5 x 8 inches (14 x 20 cm).
