First edition second impression. 256 very clean, clear and bright pages with colour frontispiece. School presentation label on first free page dated 1942 with no other inscriptions or markings. Green boards with gilt title on spine, boards are clean and bright just a little bumped and bubbled on lower and rear spine. Original dust jacket not price clipped just toned and with chips on edges and is torn on spine lower but is intact and scarce. Overall a wonderful copy well preserved. Usual toning and shelf ware should be expected.
