Seven volumes in five all published by Jean Moretus, with his printer's mark on all title pages, between the years 1598 and 1601, 4to, as follows: Ivsti Lipsi opera omnia qvae ad criticam proprie spectant . Quorum omnium index & ordo post praefationem. 1600. Third edition, pp. [8], 1-344; 355-645, [27]; one volume in two; lower portion of title page excised, cutting around the imprint, and reinforced with new paper; upper board of first volume detached and spine perished, worming to boards and manuscript section titles on upper boards. Politicorvm sive civilis doctrinae libri sex. Qui ad principatum maxime spectant. Additae notae auctiores, tum & de vna religione liber. Omnia postremo auctor recensuit. 1599. Pp. 223, [1]; title page lacking, free endpaper and leaves A2 and A3 detached but present. Bound with, as issued: Ivsti Lipsi ad libros politicorvm nota et de vna religione liber auda omnia & innouata. 1599, pp. 90, [4]; lower dozen of pages with tidestain to upper half, and a couple worming spots. Boards almost detached and spine almost perished. Dissertativncvla apvd principes: item C. Plini Panegyricvs liber traiano dictvs, cum eiusdem Lipisi perpetuo commentario. 1600. First edition, pp. [16], 170 (p. 1 misnumbered 3), [6]; bound with: Satvrnalivm sermonvm libri dvo, qui de gladiatoribus. Editio vltima, & castigatissima. 1598, pp. 230, [6]; boards cracked, boards wormed (textblock spared), lower pastedown partially removed to reveal wastepaper. Epistolica institvtio, excepta e dictanis eius ore, Anno ? DLXXXVII. mense Iunio. Adiunctum est Demetrij Phalerei einsdem argumenti scriptum. Editio ultima. 1601. Pp. 23, [1]. Bound with: Epistolarvm selectarvm III. centvriae: E quibus tertia nunc primum in lucem emissa. 1601, pp. [8], 208, [4]. Bound with: Epistolarvm electarvm centvria singvlaris ad Italos & Hispanos, quive in iis locis. 1601, pp. [4], 92, [4]. The third title serves as the final part of the second but was published separately. The Epistolarvm with many manuscript marginal notes. Upper board cracked, spine split, upper endpaper perished. The set uniformly bound in vellum gilt in double boarders and armorial decoration. Ex-Boston Public Library, with bookplates on endpapers, and blind emboss on title pages. The first title pages of each volume with contemporary owner's signatures, one "Joannis Christophorj Nenstetterj," another Johan Neydecker. All later editions with the apparant exception of Dissertativncvla apvd principes. Boards largely cracked and spines perished as described, internally okay for the most part but just fair overall in compromised bindings.
