Original publisher s binding of brown cloth, blind-stamped borders, pictorial images stamped in gilt on the front cover and spine; binder s ticket of Remnant & Edmonds on the rear pastedown. Very slight edgewear, inner front hinge just cracking, otherwise a fine example. First Edition of Prichard s last book-length work, a popularization of anthropological and ethnological views first elaborated in his Researches into the Physical History of Man (1813 and subsequent eds.). The publisher s gilt-stamped cloth binding is in excellent condition. .
