Four 3.5" by 5.5" postcards with b/w photos, printed by H & B, U.S. Naval Station, Pago Pago. First card is printed on textured paper, designed to look like a framed photo with oval matte, and shows the forested banks of a river. Next is a borderless photo of three tourists on the bank of a stream, apparently standing near the top edge of an artificial waterfall or reservoir. Next a borderless photo of a river, open sky beyond; a couple palms and some other trees show along the edge of a raised roadway that crosses a bridge left of center; several western canoes are tied up along the banks. The final card has a 2" by 3.5" photo pasted onto a textured, gold-tinted background. The photo shows a water scene, with palms and forest beyond the bank, and a small boat and dock. The postcards messages were written in 1920, Dec. 8, 9, 11 and 13, respectively, while the writer was en route to Sydney. All cards have a bit of edgewear, the first also having a tiny hole through it, o/w very good. > Language: English | > Size: 3.5" x 5.5" | > Media/Binding: Unbound |.
