Large card with pre-printed border, 315 x 235 mm. with 15 lift-the-flap leaves and 4 circular lift-the-flap flowers. The flowers and leaves each reveal some facet of 'my intended': age, name, profession, character, etc. A popular pastime for young ladies in the 19th century, this example is especially large and intricately constructed, the flowers in particular show a great level of skill.
