August 23, 1952 (131) - August 30, 1952 (Vol. 131) - October 11, 1952 (131) - May 16, 1953 (Vol. 132) (cover detached) - and June 27, 1953 (132) (cover detached) - are the original publications of this title and are all in about fair condition - - with about half in good condition. All show cover and corner wear - - with three having the front cover detached but present. All these issues are filled with the black-and-white and sepia photographs from that time with a sprinkling of color advertisements. Several of these issues cover the coming coronation and the doings of the English royalty - - with considerable coverage of cold war activities and developing weapon systems.
