Cm. 16, pp. 192. Esemplare conservato nella sua rara brossura editoriale. Scritta � Ippolito Nievo� di mano coeva alla brossura anteriore. Trascurabili segni d'uso al dorso, sporadiche fioriture. Esemplare nel complesso fresco e ben conservato. Questa rara edizione milanese raccoglie «fantasie strambe ed enigmatiche» in verso (come le definì l'Autore stesso) uscite sparsamente su vari periodici d'epoca. Nel periodo 1857-58 Nievo scrissee, ancora giovanissimo, Le confessioni di un italiano, la sua opera maggiore. Morì non ancora trentenne, annegato nel viaggio di ritorno dalla Sicilia, dove aveva fatto parte dei Mille garibaldini nel naufragio della nave Ercole al largo delle coste sorrentine.
