This is a vintage Boston newspaper. There is no date, but many of the articles are dated from April, 1780. The masthead is missing, but in the lower margin states "Boston: (New-England) Printed by Draper and Folsom"; so is probably an issue of "The Independent Ledger and The American Advertiser". 4-pages; appears to be 4 internal pages - partial issue? It has been closely trimmed at the edges, and with a bit of loss of text at the very edge of the lower fore-edge. Edgeworn. Age-toned/foxed. Contains several articles about the war; a brief article about an Indian raid and subsequent loss of life near Wyoming, New York; a note about a Meeting of the Freeholders in Boston offering thanks to John Hancock; ads; obits; etc. ; 28A; 14-1/2" x 9"; 4 pages.
