Ann Arbor, MI: 1970-1971. VERY GOOD with some toning to leaves, minor creasing, chips and tears to edges. Rare as a set. A complete, albeit short, run of an underground periodical from the White Panther Party in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Sun / Dance was a far-left anti-racist political party whose agenda included marijuana legalization and the freeing of political prisoners, and who took many of their cues from the Black Panther Party. In the immortal words of party founder and manager of the proto-punk band MC5, John Sinclair, "Our program of rock and roll, dope and fucking in the streets is a program of total freedom for everyone.".
