This is the Arabic language edition (Arabian Peninsula Series Map AP-3, 1394AH / 1974) of the map first issued in English (Arabian Peninsula Series Map AP-1, 1972). Colour paper folding map 1:4,000,000, 71x62cm, in its original printed buff envelope 24x30cm. Map near fine, envelope very good with short closed tear. Features include major roads (surfaced, unsurfaced), secondary roads or trails, railroad with stations, abandoned railroad with stations, oil pipe line with pumping stations, international boundaries, lava flows and volcanic debris, sabhkah, areas under cultivation, date gardens, cities towns and villages, airports and landing fields, sand dunes, undulating sand sheets, uruq, and giant sand massifs. A note states "Indicated position of boundary lines not demarcated on the ground are not necessarily definitive and not binding on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
