[Descripción en español a continuación] Scarce map of Istanbul, divided into the city, Eyup, Hasloi, Tophana Pea, Galata and Scutari. It contains an alphabetical key that refers to thirteen points of interest. It was published in London by John Luffman in 1802. Luffman's maps are very scarce on the market. Hand-coloured. John Luffman (fl. 1776-1820) was a geographer, engraver, writer, historian, publisher and goldsmith established in London. He is well known among collectors for his New pocket atlas and geography of England and Wales, and his circular maps. -------------------- Mapa de Estambul, dividido en la ciudad, Ejup, Hasloi, Tophana Pea, Galata y Scutari. Contiene una clave alfabética que hace referencia a trece puntos de interés. Fue publicado en Londres por John Luffman en 1802. Los mapas de Luffman son muy escasos en el mercado. Coloreado a mano. John Luffman (fl. 1776-1820) fue un geógrafo, grabador, escritor, historiador, editor y orfebre establecido en Londres.
