An antique map of Lanark Shire, Scotland, a chromolithograph originally engraved on steel by W H Lizars, believed to be from a copy of the "Ordnance Gazetteer of Scotland", published in the 1880s (probably 1884-5) by Thomas C Jack, Edinburgh, edited by Francis H Groome Measures around 10 1/4" x 13 1/8" (261mm x 334mm) Contains scale in miles and note of longitude The map contains two horizontal folds and a couple of horizontal indentations There are signs of wear, though no loss A little foxing to margins, more so to bottom margin Very crisp and clean Colouring of county parishes and red outlining to boundaries See pictures for further information 1 pp Circa 1880s.
