The pagination as such is irregular, following that of an earlier edition, and with page numbers inset in the margin of the text. Sir Anthony Fitzherbert (1470-1538) was an English judge, scholar and legal author, best known for his treatise on English law, the New Natura Brevium first published in 1534 which remained on of the classic treatises on English law until the age of Blackstone.
