Add to basketLucy Fitch Perkins (1865-1937), the American children's author known for the book series The Twins, neatly penned this friendly note on August 11, 1933. The note reads: "Greetings to Margaret from her friend Lucy Fitch Perkins". Perkins sold more than 2 million copies of her books and was Houghton Mifflin's most profitable author. She also illustrated children's books. Perkins wrote this note on the verso of one of her business/calling cards, the recto is printed: "Mrs. Dwight H. Perkins. 2319 Lincoln Street." 2 3/8" x 3 5/8". Condition: Fine condition.
