Based on the 1960 novel by Hank Searls. The troubled and complicated lives of passengers and crew of a commercial airliner and a US Navy jet are examined as severe weather and a malfunctioning radio bring the two planes on an inextricable course toward collision. Shot on location in Washington DC, and Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado, California. Beige titled wrappers, noted as ESTIMATING SCRIPT on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 60, dated June 5, 1959.
