An elegantly produced oblong 12mo valentine made from silver lace paper (2.75" by 4.25") with an oval chromolithographed scrap in the center. The scrap depicts two doves in flight visible through a frame of leaves and wildflowers. "Love" printed at foot. Verso blank. Very good. Silver tarnished, with a couple points of minor damage to delicate parts of lace paper. Possibly missing lower leaf if produced as bifolium.
