The drawings are excellent, have clearly passed the test of time, and represent the way most surgeons think about a procedure. The descriptions are well written and particularly helpful, especially before undertaking a procedure. It is a large book and is very useful as an atlas for refreshing or learning the steps of a particular procedure.
