Review:

“This book provides the most complete coverage of the material that I wanted to cover in my classes. The sections on essay writing were found in most other textbooks, but they did not offer both readings and a section on grammar and punctuation.”

--Kate O’Neill, University of Calgary

“What I like about Essay Writing is that it includes writing instruction, sample essays, grammar, and documentation style (MLA) so students have to purchase only one text, rather than two or more.”

--Dr. Nancy E. Batty, Red Deer College

“This text excels at teaching students to write clear, error-free prose at an acceptable university level, using a reasonable, systematic approach. Its readings are interesting and relevant to students. It is, in short, an excellent text.”

--Anonymous
