About the Author:

Madeleine R. Stoner is Associate Professor, Department of Social Work, University of Southern California, and author of Inventing a Non-Homeless World: A Public Policy Agenda for Preventing Homelessness. Her writings on welfare reform, public advocacy, homelessness, and administration, planning and community organization have been widely published in major journals and edited volumes. Dr. Stoner received her M.S.W. and Ph.D. degrees from Bryn Mawr College.
