Die-hard fans will especially enjoy Kinsey's self-disclosure--something she's infamous for not doing--about her childhood, the fate of her parents, and the randy details of her first marriage. A very vulnerable and interesting side to Kinsey's character is also revealed when her obsessive-compulsive fact-finding bent is mixed up with matters of the heart.
A fast, fun read, O Is for Outlaw is packed with Grafton's clear, colorful imagery and signature metaphors: "Our recollection of the past is not simply distorted by our faulty perception of events remembered, but skewed by those forgotten. The memory is like orbiting twin stars, one visible, one dark, the trajectory of what's evident forever affected by the gravity of what's concealed." --Rebekah Warren

Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Very Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Fine. First English Edition; First Printing. According to well known and highly respected Ralph Spurrier of Post Mortem Books, in his May 2002 catalog, Grafton's UK publisher would normally publish about 10,000 hard backs of any new Grafton title. When the decision was made on the print run, the crime ficton editor was on maternity leave. Someone decided to do a trade paperback only, but added a small hardback print run of 750 copies for the British library market. By the time the crime editor returned to work, it was too late to change the print run. The hardback went out of print even before publication. A very few copies escaped the dreaded library stamps and glue. Text block is tight with no loose or dog-eared pages. Dust jacket shows no wear or tears. Dust jacket protected in clear mylar wrapper; bubble wrapped, boxed, and shipped with USPS Tracking (USA only). Seller Inventory # 002284
