About the Author:
Dr. JAN TURBILL has been a classroom teacher and a consultant and is currently Senior Lecturer, Unit for Language, Learning and Literacy at the University of Wollongong. For many years she has been involved in professional development, both in Australia and in North America, and is interested in the role that language plays in learning, particularly in the learning of teachers.ANDREA BUTLER taught in primary schools in Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales before becoming a language consultant. She is now a full-time consultant for a major educational publishing firm. Her work keeps her in contact with teachers and children in schools throughout Australia and New Zealand. She is the author of The Story Box in the Classroom Rigby Education.
