Review:
"I am impressed with the skill with which the authors integrate East-West timelines and subjects. I still find most texts tend to take a European outlook. This text, conversely, is highly successful in explaining global development in a thoughtful, balanced way."

"The most obvious strength of the text is the way the authors integrate various themes with various regions giving students a more global perspective."
