I have had a travelling companion for a number of years who continually reawakens me from that deep perceptual sleep into which I keep falling. Time and again in the course of our journey together he has taken commonly used words and images and with an inflection of his voice, a stroke of his paint brush, or a contextual reorganization has awakened me to the divine message which always dwells in the commonplace. Now with words and pictures and game strategies, he has, in collaboration with others of us, planted this seed to remind us, another seed of the eternal tree whose fruit makes all things new. What you hold in your hands is a pod in the form of a book. In the pod are 240 cards with pictures on two sides and 32 with words on two sides. They are a connected universe which can be assembled millions of different ways. They are meant to be released and we have scored the section on white card stock and the foldout chart to make this release easier. This seed has been brought together here through the help and loving kindness of many beings on many continents, including the Southwest US, the Alps, NYC and in the air of Asia. Our only purpose in making SEED is to help serve in some way in the awakening of consciousness and the ending of suffering for all beings everywhere. (Introduction by Ram Dass)
