About the Author:
Dr. John G. Leslie graduated with a BS from American University, Washington, DC (1973), a Ph.D. in Experimental Pathology from the University of Utah School of Medicine (1980), a Doctorate of Medicine at Oral Roberts University (1989) and Residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics from the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa Branch (1993). He has been Board Certified in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. He also has a Bible School Certificate of Completion from the Word of Faith Bible College, Dallas, Texas (1982), and a PhD in Archaeology and Biblical History, Trinity Southwest University, Albuquerque (2012). Dr. Leslie has worked with several leading scientists both in the United States and abroad. He has been an author in publications such as The New England Journal of Medicine, Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, Connective Tissue Research, and others including foreign journals. He has written communications in several newspapers including the American Medical Association News, and The American Academy of Pediatric News. Articles have appeared in Ex Nihilo and in its Technical Journal issues. He is or has been a member of the West Coast Connective Tissue Society (USA), Australian-New Zealand Connective Tissue Society, American Medical Association, Tulsa Medical Society, New Mexico Medical Society, Christian Medical Society, Pro Life Victoria (Australia), Creation Research Society, Oklahomans for Life, New Mexico Right to Life, American Academy for Medical Ethics, and the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He has been awarded a Ewing Foundation Student Fellowship (1987) for oncology research, and he was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. His early work involved protein structure and function studies. He then pursued studies in protein metabolism. Further studies included the development of monoclonal antibodies to various biologically active proteins. More recently, he investigated the structure of DNA in certain cancers.
