While it has been in existence in some nations for years, some are just being initiated by it. Whatever the case may be, terrorism is undoubtedly the man-inflicted malignant epidemic ravaging humanity at a very high speed and degree. The writing of this book is motivated by my interest, training and research. It is an attempt into the unveiling and understanding of the concept of global terrorism in all its ramifications, and its effect on humanity. For whom is the book intended and to whom is it aimed? Target-readers are inclusive but not limited to―Security Operatives and strategists, Administrators, Researchers, Students, Social Critics, Newsmen, Religious leaders and the general public. In addition terrorism on this scale, depth and reach was almost alien to Africa, thus with Africa's "induction" into the impact of terrorism an interest was activated which is meant to create awareness, inform, and educate citizens and authority.
