It will show the struggles she has with her family, how her relationships with her sister and mother declines over the years, and how she searches for the love she needs, seeking out older men, as a result of molestation that occurred in her younger years. She harbors anger and all through school, having ADHD, which was not known back then, makes her life a challenge. The poems were an escape. They start off immature and almost child like; then, as she matures, the poems become deeper, sometimes sadder and more intense. Her second book will be an exception of what she goes through as she reaches womanhood. Her relationship with Christ will deepen and her poems will also.
