It's life down on the farm - but not as we know it... Jackie Moffatt was born and grew up on the outskirts of London. Equipped with a bucket load of optimism, stout boots and a highly developed sense of the ridiculous, she and her husband, a native Cumbrian, moved north to a small farm in the Eden Valley. For 10 years Jackie has contributed articles about her life on the farm to Cumbria and Lake District Life, combining humorous insight and astute observation. These are the basis for this book which introduces us to the laughter, tears and wacky world of one woman's farm in Cumbria.
