Monroe County Historical Association will host a book signing with Frank and Marie Summa, authors of the new book "Then and Now -- The Stroudburgs in the Poconos," from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Driebe Freight Station, 537 Ann St., Stroudsburg.
Driebe Freight Station will be decorated for the season with Christmas trees and displays featuring area quilts and antique toys.
This new photo book features vintage images of Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg landmarks printed side-by-side with photographs of the locations today, shot with the same perspective. This book offers a fascinating look at how these towns have -- or haven't -- changed over the years.
