Since 2003, the ups and downs of Ronnie O'Sullivan's life have continued to be as vertiginous as prior to the publication of Ronnie. On the one hand he has been as successful at the table as ever, winning everything from the Welsh Open and the Masters twice apiece, to the Embassy World Championship. There's not a major tournament in world snooker that Ronnie hasn't won at least once. On the other hand, Ronnie continues to be dogged by inconsistency, considers this to be at the root of his being a "complete failure," and has continued to battle with his depression. Having a stable family set-up and Ray Reardon as a mentor have helped enormously, but there have still been times—walking out of the UK Championships in 2006 mid-match against Stephen Hendry—when the demons have prevailed. In More Ronnie O'Sullivan, he unravels some of the contradictions that seem to rule his life, and comes to grips with the coping with the pressures at the very top. It's more of an indepth look at what makes O'Sullivan tick that gets to the bottom of everything—snooker, drugs, alcohol, family life, playing for Arsenal celebs XI—rather than the canter through his ascent and problems with his father that formed the basis of his first autobiography.

Review:
The running is literal as well as metaphorical...it's a heartbreaking story―THE METRO

Like a lot of shy people, he can look arrogant and aloof when he is performing, while underneath there's turmoil.―DAILY MAIL

At snooker, O'Sullivan is easily the best in the world. At running, he is club class...His frank memoir, which reads like a transcript from the psychiatrist's coach, explains that running - and the running community - gave him a sense of acceptance and achievement.―THE SUNDAY TIMES

Running is a chaotic race through O'Sullivan's life, but this does little to dethrone him as the people's champion - it simply adds further to his legend.―PRESS ASSOCIATION

When he starts talking about snooker and his rivals, he is fascinating. Yet it wasn't snooker that ended up saving from the booze and drugs - it was distance running.―THE DAILY TELEGRAPH

When he starts talking about snooker and his rivals, he is fascinating. Yet it wasn't snooker that ended up saving from the booze and drugs - it was distance running.―THE DAILT TELEGRAPH
