About the Author

Julie Kim is an author and illustrator living in Seattle, Washington. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, she wrote and illustrated the CYBIL Award-winning children's book Where's Halmoni? and later produced its sequel Where's Joon? Her work has been praised by School Library Journal for its "jaw-dropping art, encouraging bilingual attitude, and conscientious portrayal of Korean culture." Her latest book is Love Like River and Sky.
