Kinder, Gentler Ways has its own unique reason for being.  It's an upward and outward extension of time and place. Stories and themes age the author to include adult experiences that bring forth perspectives based upon earlier established values.
Some of the fun, continuing histories and youthful reflections return.  The histories are again included as centerpiece to each chapter. There are at least fourteen pieces of local, small town history that seem to center the reader, with thirty-eight small stories surrounding. Response to the format by those reading and attending first book events has been well received and understandable.
Harsh as the times of post-World War II days were in appearance, the 1950s comprised an era of proven practice-with common denominators of honesty and truth binding together the "kinder, gentler ways."
