About the Author:

Chau Hang, born in 1962, learned Chinese painting from his father early in his childhood. In 1983, he immigrated to Hong Kong to study further under the guidance of his grandfather, Professor Chao Shao-an, a famous artist of the Lingnan school. He won the first prize of Hong Kong Youth Cultural & Art Competitions–Chinese Paintings in Open Section 1984, the silver prize of Hail Our Mother Country Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Competition '95 Beijing in 1995, and the special award of the First Festival of the Ministry of Foreign Economics and Trade Affairs of China in 1997. He has been invited to create the Chinese ink and wash by Invest HK—the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Hong Kong Urban Renewal Authority, Hong Kong Childhood Injury Prevention and Research Association, and many other organizations
