An award-winning writer of historical features for the Nashville Tennessean for more than 20 years, Louise Littleton Davis is a former vice-president of the Tennessee Historical Society and currently serves on the board of editorial advisers of the Tennessean Historical Quarterly.

Book Description Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Second Printing. Book is soluid with a very slight lean. Some wear and abrasion at corner tips (slightly bumped) and at head and foot of spine. There are a few abrasions along bottom edge of boards. Foredges are tanned with some foxing. Interior pages are unmarked save for previous owner's name penned onto front pastedown. White DJ (now under protective cover) shows some soiling, and some wear at head and foot of spine ( small pieces missing. There is also wear aong panel edges which have some creases and small tears.
