The reprinting of this catalogue was made possible throgh a loan of an original from R.A. Slaman of Harpenden, England. Seventeen pages of front material preced this reprinting of the Sixth Edition. This consists of two pages of documentary information, followed by tow pages of material from the Birmingham Directories; nine pages from this firm's Catalogue No. 26, May 1914, showing their development of the metal plane, and two pages from other later Catalogues relative to metal planes. Following the Title Page to this Sixth Edition there are five pages of index to the tools listed and illustrated in this Catalogue. This page numbers in this index refer tot he pages of illustration and follow the pagination of the original. this liberally illustrated Sixth Edition provides an excellent record of tools then available in England to the wood working trades.
