This is a "gee whiz" approach to racing driver biography. Kirby briefly chronicles the careers of four generations of the remarkable Unser family of Albuquerque. The main focus is on Bobby and Al, who have won the Indy 500 seven times between them, but there have been racing Unsers since 1915, and they all have their stories. The book is remarkable for the number and quality of the photographs. Unfortunately, the text is sparse and very superficial. The book also has full-page advertisements from Unser family sponsors. Still, the Unsers are popular. Recommended for larger collections only; Carl Hungness's Go: The Bettenhausen Story (LJ 4/15/83) remains the best racing family biography. Charles A.
