About the Author:

Alan Kane, born in Banff, Alberta, has spent his life in and around the Rocky Mountains. He attended the Canadian School of Mountaineering in Canmore, Alberta, and is part of the Alpine Club of Canada. An earlier edition of his book, Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies won an award at the 1999 Banff Book Festival.
