About the Author:

Eliud Martínez is an author, artist, and professor emeritus of creative writing and comparative literature at the University of California–Riverside. He is the author of Voice-Haunted Journey. Luis Leal was a writer and critic noted for being a forerunner in Latin American and Chicano literary education by incorporating works into his curriculum as a professor. He was a former director of the Center for Chicano Studies at University of California–Santa Barbara. He is the author of nearly 45 books.
