I feel slightly bad for the author, who I imagine always looked over his shoulder in case he should spot the devil there, planning some malicious attack on him. Some of the advice/warning are strange. For instance, if someone who never loses their temper suddenly becomes agitated, you can be sure it's the work of the devil. This book makes one thing clear: the devil is lurking around every corner, behind every curtain, and maybe even under your mashed potatoes.
