Susan Crawford is a knitwear and clothing designer and the author of two previous books, A Stitch in Time, Vintage Knitting & Crochet Patterns 1920-1949: Vol 1 and Vintage Gifts to Knit. Susan's vintage aesthetic can also be seen in her designs which have been featured in online publications such as Knitty and knitonthenet and in magazines such as Knitting and The Knitter and also in her photography, artistic direction and styling for A Stitch in Time. In addition, Susan is responsible for re-writing her vast collection of knitting patterns for others to enjoy in A Stitch in Time. These books include several knitting pattern collections. Jane is an enthusiastic social historian as well as an artist and sculpture.
