Born in Berkeley, California and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After years of historical research and dramatic writing, she produced this biography which was published as a novel. Its original version as a biographical manuscript was awarded first place by nationally selected judges in the biography division of the Original Writing Contest sponsored by the Utah Arts Council, the oldest arts council in the nation.
