About the Author:
Robert D. Moran is a Washington, D.C. lawyer and management consltant who specializes in occupational safety and health. For the past twenty years, his private practice has been confined to advising business and industry throughout the country in OSHA related matters. He became U.S. Wage and Hour Adminastrator in 1969 and in 1970 he headed the task force that planned the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the formation of OSHA. He then served a 7-year term on the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission and was its first Chairman. An Army veteran, he was awarded the Department of Defense Mertiorious Service medal for service on the U.S. Court of Military Review. He is listed in both Who's who in America and Who's Who in American Law. Publication also contains research and content supplied by writer, Author and OSHA expert Mark M. Moran.
