Bill began his career in television from 1950 to 1977 at ABC-TV as a film editor, director, producer, and executive producer. He developed a great many new programs for the owned and operated station in Los Angeles. One became a successful series with over one hundred shows. He left ABC, in 1977 and joined the Osmond Television Studio in Utah as associate producer on the series Donny & Marie, followed by The Donna Fargo Show and various specials with the Osmond Brothers and The Oakridge Boys. While in Utah, he taught a class on the "History of Television Production" to students from Brigham Young University. Returning to California in 1980, he owned and operated his own post production studio, in Studio City, specializing in demo tapes for actors, performers and directors.
Bill is the author of the best selling book "A Friend of Bill's." and recipient of the prestigious Barnes & Noble "Writers Harvest Days" award. His book has been accepted by the Library of the (NCADI) National Clearing Alcohol and Drug Information.
He is the President of Walli Sun Publishing, Inc., a company he formed, following the success of his first book. His next book "A Second Chance," will be out soon. It tells the story of an abandoned Chinese baby from Guangzho, China, adopted by a single, lady from Studio City, California
He is the Executive Director and Founder of the organization PIIETAA, a non-profit group of parents devoted to educating teenagers about alcohol.
Bill and his wife were both born in Salt Lake City, Utah. They moved to California in 1950 where they raised three children and became grandparents to six grandchildren.Review:
