Mike Redden, fortyish, Vietnam Veteran, his father a prominent and respected judge, has just been released from a California state prison. His beloved sister, a movie actress and star in her late twenties, has been murdered. Mike vows revenge, but finds himself thrown into conflict with the seasoned LAPD detective who was responsible for sending him to prison. Mike is also on parole, which restricts his actions.
